I was having the same problem catching the scenes I wanted, especially pics of my toddler. The shutter speed on the DSLR is great, and the high ISO means I can shoot in many low-light situations. So, yes, I love it. I love the convenience of my digital camera, but I always had a knack for catching the perfect facial expression or pose, and since my digital takes a couple seconds to actual take the photo, I'm not able to choose that exact shot now. Thus, the final shot is more luck than anything anymore. Boo! Hiss! LOL Does the DSLR take the shot instantly? I'm sure you're having a blast. What's more fun than a new gadget?
