I’ve spoken about the rabbits on my property before, about how I’ve saved a few from neighborhood cats yet seen their population dwindle as the cats and, I’m sure, the local red-tailed hawk have filled their bellies on them. Still, a few remain, and if conventional wisdom holds up on how much these furry guys like to reproduce, I’m sure they’ll be hopping through my lawn for years to come.

But I think they’re starting to know me. They don’t scamper like they used to when I walk by. In fact, one today let me kneel about seven feet from it to snap a few photos.

So, here’s the bunny. Let’s call him Noah, taking a break from repopulating the world.
