Trying to clear out some of the photos I’ve stockpiled for the past six months, which includes a very large stack of Hipstamatic prints. So here are a few of the most recent ones, shot in the last week.
For starters I took several photos of an old kinderpiano that my mother-in-law was selling at a yard sale this past weekend. You have to love how weathered it is, which makes me want to spend time photographing some of the other antiques that she has. In this case, the contrast between the aged toy and the leaf-strewn grass made for a few intriguing shots. Or not, you tell me.
I’m also including a few photos I took while I was driving Tuesday to speak on a panel about public relations and how they can best pitch local media. The sun setting over the Long Island Expressway set the scene for a few stylish photos, as well as a shot of the Long Island National Cemetery, which holds the remains of hundreds of deceased soldiers.
